A cold front pushing south across the state is expected to bring rain and temperatures in the low 30s tonight — cold enough to turn the moisture into snow.
The fast moving storm should move out well before morning, however.
The metro area can expect anywhere from a trace to two inches of snow by Monday morning, said the National Weather Service. The foothills and Palmer Divide may get up to 5 inches in some areas.
The cooler temperatures are expected to stick around Monday with highs in the 50s, and a possibility for some light rain showers in the afternoon.
