ConocoPhillips’ $10 billion divestiture program includes properties in Texas, the Rocky Mountain region and Western Canada, according to documents posted on a financial adviser’s website.

ConocoPhillips retained Scotia Waterous to help sell assets in such areas as the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico, the Texas Panhandle and a region that includes Wyoming, Colorado and Utah, the documents showed.

ConocoPhillips was the 12th- largest natural-gas producer in Colorado in 2008, according to the latest available data from the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

Most of the company’s operations are on the Western Slope. The assets being offered for sale are on the Eastern Plains in Cheyenne County, according to Scotia Waterous’ website.
