If you missed Earth Day 2010 last week, it may just be because you’re wearing the wrong watch.

The new Casio Pathfinder PAG110C-3 (MSRP: $250) attempts to do its part as an eco- friendly timepiece, incorporating solar technology that increases battery life by boosting electrical power with sunlight.

The self-charging design makes sense, given the outdoor nature of the Pathfinder series and the many power-draining features found on the PAG110C-3, including a digital compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters and is designed to withstand cold temperatures while keeping time in up to 30 destinations around the world.

In addition to helping avoid another contribution to the estimated 3 billion batteries thrown away by Americans every year, five daily alarms should offer ample notice for next year’s Earth Day.
