LOS ANGELES — Conan O’Brien’s first post-“Tonight Show” interview will air this weekend as he talks with Steve Kroft on “60 Minutes,” CBS said Tuesday.
O’Brien’s exit deal with NBC barred him from TV appearances until May 1; the “60 Minutes” piece will air the day after.
The comedian, who left “Tonight” in January over a time-slot dispute with NBC, has agreed to host a late-night show on cable’s TBS network later this year. He’s now on a national comedy- club tour and will appear in Denver on May 10 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. The Associated Press
