DENVER—A cold front is bringing high winds, snow, rain and plunging temperatures to Colorado.
The National Weather Service has issued winter advisories for parts of the state. Snowfall of up to 10 inches was expected in parts of Colorado’s northern and central mountains.
Winds of more than 50 mph whipped along the Front Range before the cold front.
But the Denver area likely will miss snow and get rain instead Thursday. The metro area’s high temperatures were expected to drop 30 degrees from Wednesday’s high of nearly 80 degrees.
