This new 100,000- square-foot store just north of Park Meadows mall is open only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, then closes during the week so its buyers can hunt down discontinued and overstock merchandise from the likes of Feizy, Henredon, Karastan and many more. “Shop to the 9s”
Nine of Denver’s top retailers — Abend Gallery, The Brass Bed, Djuna, Eron Johnson Antiques, Garbarini, The Perfect Petal, Shaver Ramsey, Trog de Lights and The Vineyard — will come together for a three-day warehouse sale featuring deep discounts on high- end furnishings, fashion accessories, wine and more. Attention looky-loos
As May’s garden flowers begin to pop, two tony Denver neighborhoods host their annual house tours. The Sixth Annual University Park Home Tour is Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and spotlights five homes along with the Chamberlin Observatory. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the event, and can be purchased at University Park Elementary School, 2300 S. St. Paul St.; Lulu’s, 2553 S. Colorado Blvd.; or online at . All of the event’s proceeds benefit the school. Then on May 8, the 12th Annual Washington Park Home Tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and also includes five homes that “exemplify the best of both historic and contemporary architecture in Denver.” Proceeds from this tour will benefit Steele Elementary School, 320 S. Marion Parkway, and the Denver Public Schools Educational Outreach for homeless families. Tickets are $15 in advance at and 1st Bank of Cherry Creek branches at 100 St. Paul St., 830 S. Colorado Blvd. and 1316 E. Evans Ave. On the day of the tour, tickets are $20 and can be purchased at any house on the tour or at the school.
