WIL MINGTON, Del. — Nortel Networks, once North America’s largest maker of telecommunications gear, got bankruptcy- court approval to pay chief strategy officer George Riedel as much as $4 million in bonuses. The payments “are necessary to preserve the value of the debtors’ estates,” U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross said in a filing Monday.
