Getting your player ready...

Good news, basketball fans: The reports from Gilbert Arenas’s halfway house have him in good spirits, and nailing his jump shots. “You leave him open, he’s going to make it,” said Tony Dorsey, one of the halfway house residents who has taken to the hardcourts with the Washington Wizards guard, who is serving time for a felony handgun violation. Arenas, who is scheduled to be released today, sometimes takes part in pickup basketball games, according to his fellow residents. “He makes you a better player,” said Dorsey, who said he was serving out a probation violation.
