FORT CARSON — The Army says a soldier from Fort Carson has died in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense announced Friday that 26-year-old Eric M. Finniginam of Colonia, Micronesia, died May 1. He was killed when insurgents attacked his unit.
Finniginam was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson.
