The National High School Coaches Association is seeking Colorado boys and girls golf teams for the first-ever national championships.

No kidding, the solicitation is on for Rocky Mountain region golfers to travel to Bradenton, Fla., in five-player gender groups to try their games, ordinarily played at altitude, at sea level against national competition.

Open qualifying rounds will be played at the IMG Academies Golf & Country Club and Sara Bay Country Club, and noted golf instructor David Leadbetter is involved. More information: 610-923-0900 or rlance@nhsca.com.
