Weather had its way with baseball’s district schedule this weekend. A handful of districts scrambled to play Sunday, but four districts are completing play today.
This morning, No. 8 Silver Creek beat No. 25 Eagle Valley in Class 4A District 2 action, 14-4, and No. 3 Wheat Ridge beat No. 30 Rifle 10-0 in 4A’s District 7.
In 5A District 4, No. 21 Mountain Range completed a 2-1 upset of No. 12 Chaparral in a game that had been suspended in the fourth inning Saturday.
