In spite of a judge’s vow to issue an arrest warrant against her, Lindsay Lohan will not make her “do-or-die” court appearance today in Los Angeles, RadarOnline says.
Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said someone stole the actress’ passport in Cannes, where she’s been attending the Cannes Film Festival for the past few days.
Lindsay says she went to the airport Tuesday to catch a flight so she could make her scheduled court appearance, but was denied boarding when she couldn’t produce her passport.
Chapman Holley said, “Lindsay is doing everything in her power to get back to L.A. She tried to get on her flight yesterday without her passport and was turned away. We were working into the wee hours of the morning trying to get her a temporary passport in order to get her home.”
News that Lindsay’s passport has been stolen came as a surprise to Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney, Danette Meyers, who is assigned to her case. “I hadn’t heard that Lindsay’s passport was stolen. If that is what truly happened and that Ms. Lohan’s passport was stolen, I’m truly sorry for her.
“However, if it’s a hoax, I can tell you that Judge Revel will take that very, very seriously. Judge Revel and I are both going to be looking into this further, to see exactly what happened. If she is looking to make a non-appearance, we will take that very seriously.
“When was the passport stolen, when was it reported? I’m pretty sure if you go to the American Embassy you can be issued an emergency passport.”
According to RadarOnline, a judge earlier promised to issue an arrest warrant against Lohan if she failed to show up.
The judge also vowed to revoke her probation during her scheduled court appearance today.
John Travolta and Kelly Preston, whose son died a year ago from a seizure, said Tuesday night they “are expecting a new addition to our family.”
A family member said the 47-year-old Preston is pregnant, People reported.
The announcement did not reveal a due date for the baby, although Star magazine is reporting in its issue that hits newstands Wednesday that Preston, 47, is about three months pregnant.
“It’s impossible to keep a secret … especially one as wonderful as this. We are expecting a new addition to our family,” the “Pulp Fiction” star and his wife wrote on their website.
Preston and Travolta, 56, have a 10-year-old daughter, Ella.
Jett died while they were vacationing at their Bahamas home last year at 16.
The family’s two dogs were killed last week in an accident at Maine’s Bangor International Airport.
“The Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Meyers is returning to London to begin treatment for his addiction to alcohol, the actor’s rep confirms to People.
“He just really wants to get better,” a source told the mag. “This has been an ongoing battle for him.”
The 32-year-old actor’s latest attempt to get sober follows reports that claimed he recently became “belligerent” and “disruptive” when airport staff prohibited him from boarding a flight after noticing he was “pounding drinks” before take off.
The drunken incident, which reportedly occurred at New York’s John F. Kennedy airport in early May, is said to have resulted in the actor getting banned from flying United Airlines in the future.

The actor first checked into rehab for alcohol abuse in May 2005. Seven months after completing a second rehab stint in 2007, the actor was arrested at a Dublin airport and charged with public intoxication and breach of the peace.
He checked into rehab a third time in February 2009 to seek treatment for his addition to alcohol. In June 2009, Rhys Meyers was detained after an alleged drunken assault on several bar employees at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.
