Legendary actor Jack Nicholson will get the honor of waving the green flag at the start of this year’s Indianapolis 500 on Sunday at the Brickyard. Nicholson is the winner of three Academy Awards and has starred in acclaimed movies such as “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” “Terms of Endearment” and “A Few Good Men.” Previous celebrities who have waved the Indy 500’s green flag include four-time NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts and Olympic figure skating champion Kristi Yamaguchi.
