FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Expect an active to extremely active hurricane season that could be almost as intense as 2005, government forecasters said Thursday. Their outlook calls for 14 to 23 named storms, including eight to 14 hurricanes. Of those, three to seven hurricanes will be major, they say.
