LYONS — The body of a man in his mid-50s was discovered Saturday morning in a drainage ditch on the north side of the St. Vrain River in Lyons. A family picnicking discovered the body in the 42 block of Main Street and returned home to call police, according to a statement from the Boulder County Sheriff’s office.
Police and paramedics responded. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released pending notification of his family; foul play is not suspected.
