COLUMBUS, Ohio — Michael Stephens scored his first career goal and Los Angeles extended its shutout streak to 456 minutes in a 2-0 victory over the Columbus Crew on Saturday, leaving the Galaxy as the only unbeaten team in Major League Soccer.

It was the latest that two unbeaten teams have met in MLS history. The Galaxy (9-0-2) has allowed two goals overall and none while going 5-0-1 on the road. It hasn’t lost in 14 regular-season games (11-0-3) since September.

Salt Lake 4, Wizards 1

SANDY, Utah — Fabian Espindola and Alvaro Saborio scored three minutes apart in the first half to lead Real Salt Lake to its franchise- record fifth straight win.

Robbie Russell and Ned Grabavoy also scored for the defending MLS Cup champions, who improved to 6-3-1 for the best start in franchise history. The victory also extended Real Salt Lake’s regular-season home winning streak to 15 games.

D.C. United 3, Chiv. USA 2

WASHINGTON — Carey Talley scored on a stoppage time penalty kick past defender-turned-goalkeeper Dario Delgado to lift D.C. United after goaltender Zach Thornton was sent off for his challenge on D.C.’s Santino Quaranta in front of the goal.

Revolution 3, Red Bulls 2

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Zach Schilawski’s fifth goal of the season, a header on a cross from Shalrie Joseph, gave the Revolution a victory over the short-handed Red Bulls.

Union 3, Dynamo 2

HOUSTON — Second-half substitute Danny Mwanga scored three minutes into stoppage time as Philadelphia rallied to win.

Toronto FC 3, Earthquakes 1

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Dwayne De Rosario scored two second-half goals to help Toronto FC stretch its unbeaten streak to four games. Toronto’s Chad Barrett began the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 31st minute, ending goalie Joe Cannon’s streak of 393 minutes without allowing a goal against San Jose (5-3-1). It was the first goal allowed by Cannon since April 24.
