Authentic rugby returns to the Denver area in June for the second consecutive Churchill Cup at Infinity Park in Glendale. The event prompted Lt. Gov. Barbara O’Brien to declare June as “Colorado Rugby Month.”
The Churchill Cup will feature teams from the U.S., Canada, England, France, Uruguay and Russia, playing doubleheaders at what is touted as the first “municipally owned, rugby-specific stadium in North America.”
The event is a preliminary round toward the Churchill Cup finals at Red Bull Arena in New York on June 19.
