ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet is delivering the keynote address at a memorial service for fallen soldiers at Fort Logan National Cemetery Monday morning.
Bennet’s address comes during a month in which he has been on a statewide listening tour to hear from veterans about services they receive, including health care and other benefits. Bennet started the tour in Pueblo earlier this month. The Democratic freshman has pushed for more federal funding for a veterans’ hospital in Aurora and to build a Veterans Cemetery in southern Colorado.
Bennet spoke to veterans in the San Luis Valley on Sunday.
