EAGLE, Colo.—A judge granted a bond hearing for a man suspected of killing a man and wounding three others in a bar.

District Judge R. Thomas Moorhead granted the bond hearing Friday for 63-year-old Richard “Rossi” Moreau. Moreau is being held without bond in the Nov. 7 shooting death of Gary Kitching, a doctor from Carbondale.

Moreau’s bond hearing will be June 10.

Moorhead did not immediately rule on Moreau defense attorneys’ request to have some evidence and statements thrown out.

Moreau is charged with first-degree murder, along with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and other felonies.

His trial is set to begin in September.
