A man was fatally shot in Denver early Friday, and police arrested Leon Barrett, 54, on suspicion of homicide.
Police were called to 1523 E. 29th Ave. on a report of a shooting. Police said Barrett and the victim had a “physical confrontation” and Barrett was struck with a blunt object.
