A 13-year-old boy was pulled from the swimming pool at Southglenn Country Club in Centennial tonight.
Crews from Littleton Fire Rescue performed CPR before the boy was transferred to a local hospital at about 7:30 p.m., said the fire department’s spokesman, Joe Rouff.
The circumstances that caused the medical emergency, including whether it was a near-drowning or heart condition, were not immediately available, he said.
Southglenn is a private club near East Arapahoe Road and South University Boulevard. The club’s event’s calendar online said a pool party was scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Sunday.
