Getting your player ready...

Ten years ago, when the U.S. Open last landed at Pebble Beach, Harrington, then 28, started becoming a household name on this side of the Atlantic Ocean by tying for fifth place, albeit 17 strokes behind Tiger Woods’ record-setting effort. Beginning today, the Irishman will be using the St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tenn., as a tuneup for returning to Pebble Beach for next week’s major. With three top-10s in 10 starts, Harrington has had good-but-unspectacular results during his time on the PGA Tour this season. He will want to gear up for Pebble Beach with solid play in Memphis.
