Angelina Jolie is expected to star in a new film about the legendary Egyptian ruler Cleopatra.

With Jolie in mind, film producer Scott Rudin has purchased the film rights to upcoming biography “Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra: A Life,” USA Today reports.

Rudin’s office confirmed to USA Today that the movie “is being developed for and with Jolie.”

Stacy Schiff wrote the new biography — out this November — and says that the superstar would be ideal in the role of Cleopatra. “Physically, she’s the perfect look,” the author said of Jolie, who, at 35, is four years younger than Cleopatra when she died.

Cleopatra has most famously been played by Elizabeth Taylor in a lavish 1963 film. Playing Cleopatra’s Roman lover Marc Anthony? Taylor’s real-life love and two-time husband Richard Burton. Both were married to other people when they fell in love on the set of the movie. Burton, who divorced Taylor twice, was Taylor’s fifth and sixth husband.

With a new baby boy, and 3-year-old Wyatt, Sheryl Crow is a busy mom, but she says she’s enjoying every single moment of motherhood — especially the second time around.

“I’m not sweating the small stuff,” the singer — who’s mom to Wyatt Steven, and newly adopted son Levi James, 6 weeks — told People magazine. “I’m easier going.”

Instead of worrying about the little things like she did before, Crow, 48, now knows that “every little tiny gurgle” doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong and if her son doesn’t eat, it simply means he just wasn’t hungry.

“I’m applying all the mistakes I made with Wyatt to being more relaxed with Levi,” she says.

Though adding Levi to the Crow clan was exciting news the singer couldn’t wait to share with fans, she acknowledges having two kids is more than just double the work.

“One is one and two is 20,” she said. “I can’t believe how much stuff is needed for two kids! We’re getting ready to go on the road in a couple of days and I don’t think there’s going to be any room on the bus for my stuff.”

Up next for Crow, in addition to touring the country, is the release of her new album “100 Miles from Memphis,” due out July 20, which features collaborations with Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones and Justin Timberlake.

A recently discovered dress worn in Princess Di‘s first public appearance as Prince Charles‘ fiancee, has been sold for $276,621.

Auction house Kerry Taylor put up the black gown by Elizabeth and David Emanuel and it was purchased by Fundación Museo De La Moda, a Chilean fashion museum, according to People magazine.

“As the weeks before her wedding progressed, Diana lost so much weight that she returned the gown to the Emanuels to have it taken in,” the auctioneer said.

“The alterations required were so drastic that they decided it would be easier to remake a smaller version for her. They kept the original and forgot about it, only rediscovering it quite recently.”

The dress was provocative for its time, People noted, given that in royal circles, the deep black color was reserved mostly for funerals.

The museum indicated the dress would remain on display until the death of founder Jorge Yarur. It will then be donated to Kensington Palace, where Diana once lived. Diana died Aug. 31, 1997.

Dennis Rodman‘s estranged wife Michelle claims her ex owes her more than a quarter million dollars in child support.

According to papers filed in Orange County Superior Court, Rodman owes $305,244.67 in child support for his two kids.

The former basketball star was last ordered to pay his wife $50,000 a month — plus an extra $1,083 in spousal support — but Michelle claims he’s way behind.

Dennis’ rep says Rodman has already made several child support payments “and we intend on clearing up any discrepancy in that regard,” TMZ reports.
