Max Seibald and Dan Hardy each scored four goals Saturday, powering the Denver Outlaws to a 20-16 Major League Lacrosse victory over the Chesapeake Bayhawks in Annapolis, Md.

Seibald and Hardy scored unassisted goals during the first quarter, helping the Outlaws (4-2) build a 4-2 lead. Drew Westervelt scored two of his three goals during the opening minutes of the second quarter to help Denver lead 10-6 at halftime.

The Bayhawks (4-2) cut the Outlaws’ lead to 14-12 on Michael Kimmel’s unassisted goal 27 seconds into the fourth quarter. But Seibald scored a two-point goal about three minutes later and Denver’s defense kept Chesapeake from mounting a serious rally the rest of the way. Outlaws goalkeeper Jesse Schwartzman stopped 17 of the 31 shots he faced.
