Wednesday: Rockies ace Ubaldo Jimenez (13-1, 1.15 ERA), having a season for the ages, opposes John Lackey, Boston’s big offseason addition.
Thursday: Rockies’ Jason Hammel, with a 25 1/3-inning scoreless streak, faces off against Daisuke Matsuzaka, who is returning from the Red Sox’s disabled list.
