Matt and Joe, who own the store, are gracious proprietors who sell ice cream and T-shirts. They have created a T-shirt of Fairview Peak lookout, a historical fire lookout they have volunteered to help restore. A percentage of the shirt sales goes to the lookout. If you are ever in Pitkin you must stop and get some ice cream.
