Boulder salon owner Mary Owens worked double overtime for the last two days so she could take today off.
Owens will spend her vacation time waiting in line with thousands of other “Twihards” to snatch a good seat at the long-awaited premiere of the Twilight saga’s third film, “Eclipse.” The latest film opens at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.
“I’m 30 and feel silly going with all of these teenagers, but I can’t help it,” Owens said. “It’s going to be packed.”
The Century Cinema in Boulder and the Orchard 12 Westminster theaters have already sold out several showings and are opening up more auditoriums to accommodate the demand.
“If it’s anything like the last two years, we will sell out all of the auditoriums and have to send some people away,” Century Cinema senior assistant manager Ted Trujillo said.
