Justin Bieber originally announced his Thursday show at Broomfield’s 1stBank Center back in March, which is, you know, an eternity in the minds of his mostly tween fanbase. But now that the shiny-locked, golden-throated pop sensation is finally here, those screaming fans (and the ironic hipsters who love to hate him) can gear up for more hysteria. Somewhat shockingly, as of press time, a handful of tickets for the show, with openers Sean Kingston and Jessica Jarrell, were still available. $33.50-$53.50.

Monotonix can barely be contained by the spacious environs of Red Rocks (as we learned at last year’s Monolith Music Festival), let alone the small, squat accommodations of Denver underground venue Rhinoceropolis. And as anyone who’s seen the Israeli garage band knows, they’re quick to commandeer the entire performance space, violently thrusting their bodies and instruments into the audience — in a good way, of course — and generally living up to the visceral thrills most rock music fails to deliver these days. 8 p.m. Sunday. 3553 Brighton Blvd. Donations accepted at the door.
