CHICAGO—A flight from Las Vegas to Chicago was briefly diverted to Denver after a passenger aboard the plane became disruptive.
A spokesman for Chicago-based United says Flight 428 landed at Denver International Airport late Tuesday.
Spokesman Mike Trevino says the flight’s captain decided to land in Denver after the passenger became disruptive. Law enforcement officials met the plane in Denver and the passenger was detained there.
Trevino couldn’t provide any details about the passenger’s conduct or whether the passenger is facing charges.
The flight later continued on to Chicago and landed safely at O’Hare International Airport early Wednesday.
