FORT CARSON, Colo.—Fort Carson is celebrating July Fourth a day early.

The public can attend an Independence Day celebration on the post on Saturday, July 3, that includes fireworks and music by the 4th Infantry Division Band.

Also available are air jumpers for children, bike stunts, carnival games and food vendors.

The event runs from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Visitors who don’t have a military registration decal should use Gate 1, Fort Carson’s main gate on Colorado 115.

The post requires federal- or state-issued photo IDs, vehicle registration and proof of insurance for visitors. The post says drivers should be prepared to have their vehicles searched at the gate.
