DENVER—State health officials are recommending more people get vaccinations following a meningitis outbreak.

They’re calling for those between 11 and 18, members of the military and college students living in dormitories to get the shots.

Three Coloradans have died from bacterial meningitis since April—two hockey players in Fort Collins and Metropolitan State College student. At least two others have been infected.

The director of immunization for the state health department, Joni Reynolds, said their deaths may have been prevented by vaccinations.
