STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Longtime Steamboat Ski Resort executive Andy Wirth is resigning to become chief executive of Squaw Valley USA Ski Resort in California.
Wirth will take over for Squaw Valley founder Alex Cushing’s widow, Nancy, who is retiring. Wirth had been senior vice president of marketing and sales at Steamboat. His last day at Steamboat will be July 23.
Winter Park resort’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, Rob Perl man, will add marketing of Steamboat to his responsibilities.
