Stewart Cink has returned the Claret Jug he won at last year’s British Open, and he made sure it was clean. That took more work than it might have for other past champions. The first drink poured from the jug was Guinness. Then there was some fine wine for Cink and his wife, soda for his sons, even barbecue sauce after he used the jug to hold the sauce during a Fourth of July cookout at his Georgia home. “It was really busy for the first two months or so. We definitely put it to good use. It was an honor to be in possession of it,” Cink said. “It was in fit condition when it went back.” The Associated Press; Getty Images
