GREELEY — Animal control officers have removed 71 cats from the home of an elderly Greeley woman.
Officers began gathering the cats last month after firefighters and paramedics went to the house to treat the 85-year-old woman for an undisclosed medical condition.
The woman has been moved to a nursing home.
The cats have been taken to the Weld County Humane Society.
