DENVER—The power is back on in Denver after an outage knocked out electricity to 25,000 customers.
Xcel Energy says the blackout started just before 3 a.m. Monday and lasted about two hours. It affected the same area hit by an outage last month after an explosion and fire at a substation.
Xcel spokesman Mark Stutz says the outage was caused by some kind of transmission problem, not because of a failure at that substation.
