BRIGHTON, Colo.—Authorities say a woman accused of causing a fatal crash while driving the wrong way on an interstate had blood alcohol levels three times over the legal limit for driving.

Prosecutors asked Tuesday that Elizabeth Jane Long’s bond be raised to $50,000 from $10,000. They say her blood alcohol content was 0.252. The legal limit is 0.08.

The judge didn’t increase the bond but ordered the 35-year-old Denver woman to be in a supervised treatment program.

Authorities say Long was driving the wrong way on I-25 July 5 when she crashed into a station wagon carrying 22-year-old Mary Warren of Fort Collins, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charges against Long include vehicular homicide and DUI.
