Mullen linebacker Brady Daigh, ranked a three-star prospect by , plans to sign with the University of Colorado, according to .

Daigh is CU’s second commitment from Colorado for the 2011 recruiting class. Valor Christian quarterback Brock Berglund committed to CU on July 1.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Daigh made 127 tackles, including two sacks, as a junior last season.

He is CU’s fourth oral commitment this season.

Fellow Mullen linebackers Leilon Willingham and Connor Healy are also highly sought-after, as are running back Adonis Ameen-Moore and wide receiver Rayshon Williams.

CSU lands offensive lineman

Trey Cassidy, a 6-3, 270 pound interior offensive lineman from Angleton (Texas), committed to the Rams this week, the Gold & Green News website reported.

Unranked by , Cassidy chose the Rams over offers from Lamar and McNeese State.
