The Pueblo Zoo’s African penguin colony recently hatched its 50th chick. Want to name it? Submit your entry, one name per form, including an explanation that gives the name’s meaning. The chick’s gender is unknown. The winning name will be announced Aug. 10.

The series is inspired by the 19th- century chautauquas that originally featured a traveling assembly of scholars, musicians and artists.
