Kris Jenkins is shedding weight one cookie at a time. The New York Jets’ hefty nose tackle said he has lost about 20 pounds since starting the popular “Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet” in May. Yep, that’s right — by eating cookies. Jenkins said he weighs 365 pounds after ballooning to 390 — 30 more than his normal playing weight — earlier in the offseason while recovering from knee surgery. He is also eager to win a weight-loss competition against Jets coach Rex Ryan and teammate Damien Woody, with the winner to be determined at a weigh-in Sunday. The Associated Press
