A Denver doctor has been charged with one count of sexual assault in the alleged rape of his children’s 22-year-old nanny.
Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey filed the Class 4 felony charge Tuesday against 46-year-old Jordan Sankel.
Sankel was arrested Saturday and has been released on a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in Denver County Court to be advised of the charge. According to an arrest affidavit, the children were not at the doctor’s home at the time of the incident July 15.
