
An ice cream vendor suspected of sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl has been arrested by Lakewood police.
Police began the investigation on July 14 after a report was received that a man who sold ice cream from a push cart in the area of West 12th Avenue and North Wadsworth Boulevard has inappropriately touched the five-year-old.
As a result of the investigation, police identified Adolfo Luna-Hernandez, 37, as the suspect.
Pictures of the suspect were distributed to officers.
Last Friday, Luna-Hernandez was spotted selling ice cream at West 17th Avenue and Harlan Street and was arrested.
He is to appear in Jefferson County court today.
