Three people are dead after a one-car accident in Fremont County.
A Jeep Cherokee was traveling east on Fremont County Road 123 approximately 1 mile east of Colorado Highway 67. Colorado State Patrol responded at to the accident at 7 p.m.
The jeep crossed into the westbound lanes and drove off the north shoulder. The vehicle rolled and came to rest approximately 50 feet north of County Road 123, according to a release from the state patrol.
One of the people in the vehicle was thrown, and two others were partially ejected.
All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.
The road will be closed in both directions for about two hours for an investigation.
The victims have not been identified.
