The three people who died in an accident in Freemont County late Thursday have been identified.
All three were Penrose teenagers.
Jessica Dunovsky, 18, was driving the Jeep Cherokee. Her two passengers were Lacey Dunovsky, 15, and Abelina Gallegos, 13.
The accident happened at about 7 p.m. when the Cherokee, which was traveling east on Fremont County Road 123 approximately 1 mile east of Colorado Highway 67, crossed into the westbound lanes and then drove off the shoulder.
The jeep rolled and came to rest approximately 50 feet north of County Road 123. One passenger was thrown from the vehicle, and the two others were partially ejected.
All three died on scene. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
