Crews have finished fighting the Dakota Ridge fire, which burned 74 acres near C-470 and Morrison Road in Jefferson County, sheriff’s officials said.

The cause of the Monday fire has not been determined, although officials will look for a possible electrical problem, a tossed cigarette or lightning.

No buildings were burned in the blaze, which steep terrain made hard to fight. Adam Singleton, The Denver Post
