SAN FRANCISCO — Wal-Mart’s settlement of as much as $85 million with hourly workers who sued over allegations of unpaid wages was affirmed by a federal appeals court.
Questions raised on appeal were so “insubstantial as not to require further argument,” the U.S. appeals court in San Francisco said in an order Tuesday.
