St. Anthony Central Hospital will use a $200,000 grant to bring young Vietnamese doctors and nurses to Colorado for training in critical care and emergency medicine.
The grant funds the Bach Mai Hospital Project, which helps train medical professionals from Vietnam so they can return and train others.
Physicians from St. Anthony Central, the Mayo Clinic, Rocky Mountain Poison Center and University of Colorado Hospital will help with the project.
St. Anthony Central doctors will travel to Hanoi. The grant is from the Mission and Ministry Fund of Catholic Health Initiatives.
