PHOENIX—Arizona officials are preparing to release a report on a security review of a privately operated state prison where three inmates, including two convicted of murder, escaped July 30.
The state Corrections Department says it will release the report Thursday during a briefing. The Kingman prison is operated by an Utah-based company.
Two of the three convicts have been recaptured, but one remains at large along with a woman accused of helping the three escape by tossing wire cutters into the prison.
One of the inmates was apprehended in Colorado, and another in Wyoming. The last confirmed sighting of the third was in Montana.
Authorities have linked the escapees to the killings an Oklahoma couple whose bodies were found in New Mexico.
