Emergency bridge repairs will cause lane closures on northbound Interstate 25 and Santa Fe Drive this weekend.
Concrete on the bridge deck has deteriorated and must be repaired before winter, according to a release from the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Although repairs will coincide with tonight’s Broncos game, CDOT believes there will be less impact this weekend than over other game weekends or over Labor Day weekend.
Traffic will be impacted by:
• Single lane closures on northbound I-25 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.
• Double lane closures on northbound I-25 from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. each day.
• Lanes will be shifted on I-25 over Santa Fe, and the speed limit will drop to 45 mph.
• Single lane closures each way on Santa Fe from 6 a.m. today until 5 a.m. Monday.
