Four months after he took his last final exam at Kentucky, John Wall was back in a classroom setting last week, scribbling notes and listening to lectures during the NBA’s rookie transition program in Palisades, N.Y. Wall, the No. 1 overall draft pick by the Washington Wizards, joined nearly 50 other rookies in a three-day schedule of seminars and workshops designed to help them understand that being a part of the NBA requires more than an ability to dribble, pass and shoot. “It’s a lot of stuff you have to learn,” Wall said. “Everybody say they think they know everything, but we really don’t know nothing.” The Washington Post
