LITTLETON — Three employees from the after-school child-care program at Roxborough Primary and Intermediate School face charges after being accused of using duct tape to stick a 9-year-old boy’s hands to his head, 9News reported.

The Douglas Country Sheriff’s Office said one of the employees was being charged with child abuse and the other two were charged with failure to report child abuse. Deputies said the employees said they were just “messing around” Aug. 16, when the incident occurred.

A supervisor saw what happened, put an end to it immediately and reported it to law enforcement, authorities said.
